A section of Watson Street, Wallan will temporarily close to repair a manhole cover and the surrounding area.
The closure is necessary to allow concrete and asphalt repair works to take place, ensuring the road remains safe and durable for residents, businesses, and visitors.
What's happening?
- The section of Watson Street between Stanley Street and Wellington Street will be closed for essential maintenance works
- Detours will be in place for through traffic via Raglan Street, Stanley Street, Queen Street and Wellington Street
- Access to properties within the closure area will be maintained but minor delays are expected
When?
Works are scheduled to occur during the week of 6 October (exact dates to be confirmed). Works will occur during the day with the road closure to remain overnight to allow the concrete repairs to cure.
