We all wear labels, what is yours?

This is the show singer, songwriter and comedian Jude Perl always wanted to write.

"If you want to laugh then you can and if you don't, then don't," Perl said ahead of her Wodonga show on Saturday, June 26.

"This is my fifth solo show and this is me, this is finally the show I wanted to write.

"Writing this show was a way of expressing myself and so I did it for me."

Perl's material comes from her personal life as she gives an insight into her personal and relatable mental health struggles of being an adult, including the labels we give ourselves.

She describes the show as an honest and hilarious discussion of mental health with a theatrical twist.

"If I have a thought then I might write a seven-minute song about it and I include all areas of life including the grey areas," Perl said.

The show was scheduled for 2019 but COVID hit and then it was rescheduled.

"It's nice to finally do it," she said.

"I'm now touring regional Victoria and I am off to Brisbane next month."

This show will make you want to sing along, cry and laugh all at once.
