Police have charged a 44-year-old man with drug and weapon offences following the search of a vehicle in Caboolture early this morning, July 16.
It will be alleged, around 12am, officers intercepted a white Holden Commodore on Summerfields Drive, during which a firearm, ammunition, a hunting knife, stolen licence plates, and drug paraphernalia were located.
A 44-year-old Caboolture man has been charged with six offences including unlawful possession of weapons (short firearm in public), possession of a knife in public, possession of an explosive (ammunition) in public without authority, possession of property suspected of having been acquired for the purpose of committing a drug offence, possession of utensils, and receiving tainted property.
He is due to appear in Caboolture Magistrates Court on July 29.
