Weapons charges, Victoria Point

Police have charged a man in relation to weapons offences after conducting a search of a Victoria Point address yesterday afternoon, Queensland Police say.

Around 4.00pm, police executed a search warrant at a Brookvale Drive address. It will be alleged that during the search police located three firearms (pictured) and a quantity of ammunition.

A 50-year-old Victoria Point man has been charged with two counts of unlawful possession of a weapon.

He is due to appear in the Cleveland Magistrates Court on March 2.
