ARU Law Clinic launches a new one-stop resource for people in Essex

A new website has been launched to help Essex residents negotiate the often daunting court system when dealing with family law matters.

The site has been designed so that people in the county who either have a hearing in the family court or questions about legal processes, can easily obtain the information they need.

Set up by the Law Clinic at Anglia Ruskin University (ARU), with the assistance of the local judiciary, the site provides a one-stop resource for everything from lists of local legal representatives to where to park at the family court. It is set out in flow charts to simplify and explain what can be a difficult process.

Sarah Calder, Director of the Law Clinic at ARU, said:

"It's been a pleasure working with HHJ Roberts and District Judge Samantha Molineaux on this important project and we're so pleased that we could launch this at what is a difficult time for a lot of people.
