We're spending $32.5 million on our roads and bridges

Our road network is set to be bolstered in the proposed annual budget.

Kempsey Shire Council has budgeted $32.5 million for works to improve our road and bridge network in the next year including:

  • Continuing replacing 56 timber bridges
  • Maintaining and improving the transport network and infrastructure through projects including rehabilitating Armidale Road and sealing of Maria River Road
  • Constructing, refurbishing and retaining safe and accessible footpaths.
