Investigators from the Altona North Embona Armed Robbery Taskforce have arrested a 37-year-old man this evening, Victoria Police say.
The West Footscray man was arrested at his home about 6pm.
His arrested follows an armed robbery at a Palmerston Street milk bar on 24 January.
The man has been charged with armed robbery, possessing a drug of dependence and handling stolen goods.
He has been remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 10 February.
One offender remains outstanding and the investigation continues.
