Western Ring Road car crash

Fawkner Highway Patrol officers are appealing for witnesses following a car crash on the Western Ring Road yesterday.

Police have been told a green Ford Falcon sedan was travelling along the Western Ring Road, Altona bound about 12.40pm.

It is believed the P-plate driver lost control near the Airport Drive exit and crashed into a concrete barrier.

The driver, an 18-year-old Broadmeadows man and his passenger, an 18-year-old South Morang man were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The third male passenger was not injured.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and are keen to speak to any witnesses or anyone who may have seen the Ford sedan prior to the crash.
