What To See & Do At Adelaide Cabaret Festival 2019

Welcome to the world's biggest cabaret festival, in the heart of Adelaide. The Adelaide Cabaret Festival heats up winter with a jam-packed program of local, national and international artists and an astounding array of classic and contemporary cabaret performances. Running from 7 June to 22 June, the festival is the largest of its kind in the world with major events at the Dunstan Playhouse, Artspace, Thebarton Theatre and beyond curated by RocKwiz's Julia Zemiro.

Opening night – The House Is Live, Thebarton Theatre, 7 June

A one-night only spectacular kicks off the Adelaide Cabaret Festival with a celebration of eclectic cabaret performances. Featuring a line-up of some of the festival's best acts, the opening night variety performance is the perfect opportunity to be immersed in the festival and get a taste for what's to come. Led by Adelaide Cabaret Festival artistic director Julia Zemiro, see Australian cabaret icon Meow Meow alongside Paul Capsis, Reuben Kaye and Queenie van de Zandt and many more.

David Campbell Is Back In The Swing Of Things, Adelaide Cabaret Festival

Beloved Australian entertainer David Campbell will perform the songs of Frank Sinatra, Lois Prima and Bobby Darin for this one night only performance. Having spent the last ten years working in television, radio and starring in musicals, David returns to his swing roots and will be joined on stage by a 14-piece ensemble.
