What's On This NAIDOC Week 2026

Join us during NAIDOC Week (5 to 12 July) to celebrate the history, cultures and achievements of First Peoples.

How to get involved

  • Experience 'Two Visions of the Sonata: Liszt and Kouvaras' on 18 July at Hawthorn Arts Centre. This NAIDOC Week concert with award-winning pianist Coady Green features a contemporary work by Linda Kouvaras with narration by Tiriki Onus, inspired by Indigenous stories of place from St Kilda to Herring Island.
  • Plan a visit to the free NAIDOC 2026 exhibition, opening from 19 August at Town Hall Gallery. Presented by Moondani Toombadool Centre, it showcases artworks by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists from Swinburne University of Technology.
