Wildlife hunters must adhere to all lawful obligations

Northern Territory Police are reminding wildlife hunters to ensure they are conducting hunting activities in a safe and lawful manner.

Hunters must comply with all safety rules and lawful obligations around hunting, accessing land and the use of firearms and other hunting items at all times.

Adelaide River has been highlighted for recent spotlighting and unlawful hunting or poaching with the increase of feral pigs around the residential area. All hunters are encouraged to make themselves aware of punishable offences where you can face prosecution.
