Wilful Damage Charge, Arana Hills

Queensland Police have charged a woman following investigations into a wilful damage offence at a Dawson Parade property in Arana Hills this morning.

Around 2.30am police were called to Wye Street in Mitchelton following reports of four people in a red sedan acting suspiciously.

The vehicle fled the scene before police arrived.

A Police Dog tracked a woman to Leslie Patrick Park and responding police located graffiti to a nearby building at Dawson Parade.

An 18-year-old Chapel Hill woman has been charged with one count of wilful damage and is expected to appear before Brisbane Magistrates Court on May 20.

Any witnesses or anyone with relevant vision in the area is urged to contact police.

Investigations remain on going.
