To celebrate Willow Parkrun turning five, everyone is invited to join a special Super Hero themed run along the course starting at Willow Park on Saturday, August 19 from 7.45am.
Parkrun is a free, fun and friendly weekly 5km community event that encourages people to get out and active.
Parkrun is positive, welcoming and inclusive, there is no time limit and no one finishes last.
Since its commencement, Willow Parkrun has held 192 events and seen more than 20,000 finishes.
None of this could happen without the work of the volunteers who assist in organising the event each week, supervising the course and providing support for the participants.
