Winning Government tenders in ICT

Michael Ferguson,Minister for Science and Technology

The Hodgman Liberal Government remains committed to seeing 90 per cent of all Government contracts being awarded to Tasmanian-based companies by 2022.

Backing this up, we are helping local ICT companies get their foot in the door with the first of our Winning Government Tenders: ICT Sector Workshops in Hobart and Launceston next month.

The Department of State Growth has partnered with TasICT to offer these free workshops to Tasmanian businesses to learn real-life tendering skills to help them win government business.

Winning government work means standing out in a competitive field, offering value for money and putting forward a professional and compelling proposition which is why the Hodgman Liberal Government is supporting Tasmanian business with a local benefits test.

These workshops will help businesses that want to learn what it takes to put forward a winning tender bid.
