Witness appeal following Dandenong crash

Casey Highway Patrol members are appealing for public help following a two car crash in Dandenong last week., Victoria Police say

It is believed a white Holden Commodore bearing stolen number plates crashed into a silver Toyota sedan at the intersection of Stud Road and Oswald Street about 8.10pm on Sunday 28 August.

The Holden Commodore then continued driving approximately 100 metres north and stopped at the intersection of Axel Road and Stud Road.

A number of occupants in the Holden Commodore abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot. It is not known how many people were in the car at the time of the crash.

The female driver of the Toyota sedan suffered injuries and was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital.

There were three children in the car at the time of the crash.

One of the children suffered injuries and was taken to the Royal Children’s Hospital.

The other two children escaped injury.

The unknown occupants in the Holden Commodore remain outstanding.
