Witness appeal following Northcote crash

Police are investigating an incident in Northcote that left three people with minor injuries last night, Victoria Police say.

It is believed a gold coloured Holden Commodore was travelling along Separation Street about 6.35pm.

It is alleged the gold car was chasing a dark coloured Holden Commodore.

The gold Commodore is alleged to have overtaken approximately five vehicles before it became airborne near the intersection of Oamaru Street.

It spun out of control and struck a concrete fence.

All three occupants escaped with minor injuries and will be interviewed by police.

The unknown dark coloured Commodore fled the scene.

Investigators would like to speak to anyone who may have seen the cars prior to the crash or may have information about the incident to contact Crime Stoppers.
