Police are appealing for public assistance as they investigate a collision between a car and a cyclist in Flemington on Wednesday, Victoria Police say.
Investigators have been told the collision occurred near the intersection of Racecourse and Boundary Roads about 7.55pm.
The vehicle left the scene but a number of witnesses and passers-by stopped to make sure the cyclist was not hurt.
The cyclist was taken to hospital for assessment but was discharged the following day.
Police are keen to hear from anyone who may have dash cam footage.
Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to contact Crime Stoppers.
