Police from Townsville Child Protection Investigation Unit are seeking a witness to an alleged indecent assault in Townsville City on July 3.
Between 7.45am and 8.45am, on Saturday, July 3 (Townsville Show weekend) a teenage girl was allegedly assaulted at the Ogden Street bus interchange, between Denham and Stanley Streets, by a 41-year-old man who is assisting police with their enquiries.
A woman at the bus stop (pictured), who was unknown to the victim, intervened and assisted the victim by moving her away from the man and comforting her.
Police would like to speak to that woman, or any person with information in relation to this matter who may be able to assist with the investigation.
