Witnesses sought after armed robbery at Miller

Police are investigating an armed robbery at a supermarket in Sydney's south-west last week.

About 7pm on Friday 5 July 2019, a man entered a shopping complex on Cartwright Avenue, Miller.

He then threatened the supermarket security guard and another employee with a firearm, demanding money, before running from the scene with cash.

Officers from Liverpool City Police Area Command and the Dog Squad attended and commenced inquiries.

The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, between 180cm-185cm tall and aged in his early 20s.

At the time of the robbery he was seen wearing a balaclava, an orange and blue 'fluoro' jacket, long dark pants and black sneakers. He was also seen to be carrying a dark-coloured sports bag.

The employees were not injured.
