Police have arrested a woman during an alleged attempted aggravated burglary in Footscray early this morning.
Officers responded to reports of an aggravated burglary in progress at a property on Raliegh Street about 4.30am.
It is alleged that an offender smashed a front window but did not gain entry to the house.
Swift acting Footscray police arrived on scene and arrested a woman near the side gate of the house.
No one was injured.
A 51-year-old woman from Seddon will be interviewed by investigators.
