Woman arrested after failing to stop in northern suburbs, SA

A woman has been arrested after she failed to stop the car she was driving today in the northern suburbs, according to SA Police.

Just after 8.45am on Thursday 30 August, patrols spotted a stolen Hyandai sedan being driven erratically on Womma Road at Davoren Park and tried to pull over the driver.

She failed to stop and was pursued by patrols until the car was spiked on Peachey Road.

The driver (and only occupant) continued until the car hit a fence on Womma Road where she was arrested without further incident.

The 27-year-old from Davoren Park has been taken to the Elizabeth Police Station where she is expected to be charged with a number of offences.
