Woman arrested by virtue of warrants - Chifley Police District

A woman wanted by police in the state's Central West has been arrested and charged.

Officers attached to Chifley Police District had been conducting inquiries to locate the 20-year-old woman, who was wanted by virtue of two outstanding warrants in relation to property and drug offences.

Following extensive inquiries - and a public appeal for assistance - she was arrested at Bathurst yesterday (Wednesday 19 October 2022).

She was charged with:

  • Receive stolen property
  • Fraud offences (four counts)
  • Stealing (two counts)
  • Demand property with menaces with intent to steal
  • Self-administer prohibited drug, and
  • Possession of equipment to administer prohibited drug.

The Bathurst woman was bail refused to appear at Bathurst Local Court today (Thursday 20 October 2022).
