Police have arrested a woman following a serious assault overnight in Whyalla Stuart, according to SA Police.
Just before 3.30am on Friday 10 August, patrols were called to a house in Panter Street after reports of a woman having been stabbed by another woman known to her.
The victim was taken to Whyalla Hospital in a serious condition and is expected to air lifted later this morning to the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
A woman is currently in police custody and expected to be charged with attempted murder. Investigations are continuing.
