Woman arrested over stabbing in Nowra

A woman has been arrested after a domestic stabbing at Bomaderry, NSW Police say.

About 3.30am on Friday 9 June 2017, a 46-year-old man was stabbed three times in the shoulder after answering a knock at his door on Alfred Street, Bomaderry.

The offender fled the scene following the incident.

Police from Shoalhaven Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

The man was taken to Shoalhaven Hospital, where he is currently being treated for non life threatening injuries.

Following inquiries, police attended a home on Neale Place, Bomaderry, and arrested a 45-year-old woman.

She was taken to Nowra Police Station and is currently assisting police with their inquiries.
