Woman arrested over traffic offences, SA

An Ingle Farm woman has been arrested after she refused to stop at a random breath testing station at Keswick, according to SA Police.

Just before 2am a silver Toyota sedan was approaching an RBT station on Anzac Highway, when the driver conducted a U-turn and took off to avoid being tested.

A police patrol pursued the vehicle for a short time to Hindmarsh and Brompton, where the car was dumped near the roadworks of Port Road and South Road in Ridley Street, with the female driver seen running from the car.

Police patrols including a police dog patrol searched the area for sometime eventually locating the woman in Crawford Lane.

The 23-year-old woman was arrested and charged with driving disqualified and driving to evade police.

She is currently applying for police bailed and expected to be released to appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court at a later date.
