Woman assaulted in Pennington break-in, SA

Police are investigating an aggravated serious criminal trespass where a woman was assaulted early this morning, according to SA Police.

Just after 2.15am, Friday 24 March, police were called to a home on Addison Road Pennington after reports of an alarm activation.

The suspect forced his way in through the front door and assaulted the victim before leaving empty handed. The victim sustained minor facial injuries and was treated at the scene by SA Ambulance service.

Cordons were set up around the area and the dog searched for the suspect but were unable to located him. The suspect is described as a man dressed in black wearing a balaclava.
