Homicide Squad detectives have charged a woman following an alleged assault in St Albans on 1 February, Victoria Police say.
A 77-year-old St Albans woman was located by a passer-by in a Willaton Street driveway about 7pm following the alleged incident.
She was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
A 30-year-old St Albans woman was arrested yesterday morning.
She has been charged with intentionally causing serious injury and will appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court today.
