Woman Charged in Mount Druitt Shooting

Criminal Groups Squad detectives have charged a woman over her alleged role in a shooting, in which more than 30 rounds were fired into an occupied home, in Sydney's west earlier this year.

About 1.15am on Friday 9 May 2025, officers attached to Mount Druitt Police Area Command were called to Frank Street in Mount Druitt following reports of a shooting.

On arrival, officers were told upwards of 30 rounds were fired into a family home by an unknown gunman travelling in a dark-coloured hatchback.

Seven adults and four young children were home at the time, but no one was injured.

Officers established a crime scene and commenced inquiries before the matter was referred to State Crime Command's Criminal Groups Squad under Strike Force Evere.

Two men were arrested and charged earlier this month and remain before the courts.

Following extensive inquiries – including a public appeal for information – strike force detectives – with assistance from Raptor Squad – executed a search warrant at a home in Mount Druitt and arrested a 20-year-old woman about 6am yesterday (Tuesday 30 December 2025).

The woman was taken to Mount Druitt Police Station where she was charged with fire firearm at dwelling etc organised criminal activity, participate criminal group contribute criminal activity and possess unregistered firearm-not pistol/prohibited firearm.

She was refused bail to appear before Bail Division Court 6 today (Wednesday 31 December 2025).
