Just after 8:20am on Thursday the 2nd of August 2018 a female entered Target Northgate with a knife and demanded money from staff members, Tasmania Police say.
The female made off with an amount of money and left the Northgate Shopping Centre on foot.
Tasmania Police have arrested and charged a 25 year old female in relation to this matter.
No staff members were injured during this incident.
Police are calling for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact Crime Stoppers.
