A woman has been charged over a fatal crash near Casino last year, in which a four-year-old girl died and another child was seriously injured, NSW Police say.
The crash occurred about 1.20pm on Friday 18 December 2015, when a red Mazda 323 and Subaru Liberty collided on the Bruxner Highway, about 10km east of Casino.
Following an investigation, officers from the Richmond Crash Investigation Unit yesterday issued a Future Court Attendance Notice to an 18-year-old woman.
She will appear before Casino Local Court on 20 July 2016 on charges of dangerous driving occasioning death; dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm; negligent driving occasioning death; and negligent driving occasioning grievous bodily harm.
Her driver’s licence was suspended.
