A 25 year old Ravenswood woman has been charged with stealing and robbery following a number of incidents in Launceston CBD and surrounding areas, Tasmania Police say.
The arrest of the woman on Sunday 18 June by Launceston Uniform members related to a number of stealing from businesses which occurred within the Launceston CBD and surrounding areas between 2 May 2017 and 14 June 2017.
The woman was charged with six counts of stealing and one count of robbery.
She was detained to appear in an after-hours court Sunday 18 June 2017 where she was remanded and reappeared in the Launceston Magistrates Court this afternoon.
