Woman charged with high-range drink-driving while travelling with two children in car in Tuncurry

A woman has been arrested after allegedly drink-driving with two children in the vehicle in Tuncurry, NSW Police say.

Officers from Traffic & Highway Patrol Command conducting stationary RBT tests on Manning Street, Tuncurry, stopped a Toyota Corolla about 6.45pm on Tuesday 22 May 2018.

Police spoke to the driver, a 33-year-old woman, who had a man and two children, aged six in the car, before conducting a breath test, which returned a positive result.

The female driver from Tuncurry was arrested and taken to Forster Police Station where she returned an alleged reading of 0.283.

She was charged with high-range PCA and granted conditional bail to appear at Forster Local Court on Wednesday 20 June 2018.

Her licence was suspended.

A notification was made to Family and Community Services (FACS).
