A woman has now been charged following the death of a man in Forest Lodge last week, NSW Police say.
About 12.40pm (Friday 10 August 2018), emergency services were called to the intersection of Hereford and Minogue Crescents at Forest Lodge, after a 30-year-old man was found with a fatal head injury.
About 6pm yesterday (Monday 13 August 2018), a man, aged 28 and a woman, aged 23, attended Newtown Police Station where they were arrested.
The woman has now been charged with murder. She was refused bail and will appear in Newtown Local Court today (Tuesday 14 August 2018).
The man has been taken to hospital, under police guard, seeking treatment to a pre-existing facial injury.
He is expected to be charged upon his release from hospital.
