Woman dies after two-vehicle crash at Pitt Town

A woman has died following a serious crash in Sydney's northwest this morning.

About 8am (Thursday 30 November 2023), emergency services were called to Pitt Town Road, Pitt Town, following reports of a two-vehicle crash.

Officers attached to Hawkesbury Police Area Command arrived to find a utility and a hatchback had collided.

The driver of the hatchback, a 30-year-old woman, was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Westmead Hospital, where she later died.

The driver of the utility, a 33-year-old man, was treated the scene for minor injuries before being taken to Hawkesbury Hospital for mandatory testing.

A crime scene was established, and police have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
