Police will prepare a report for the Coroner following the death of a woman in Point Lonsdale this morning.
Emergency services were called to the Point Lonsdale area about 10.30am on Thursday, 1 May April after reports a woman went missing.
A search of the water was conducted with the Air Wing and local Coast Guard locating an unresponsive woman in the water just after 12pm.
She was brought back to shore but could not be revived.
