Woman dies following crash in Wahroonga

A woman has died following a crash at Wahroonga earlier this week, NSW Police say.

Emergency services were called to the Pacific Highway just before 4pm on Sunday (21 October 2018), after a Mazda 3 and a Volkswagen Golf collided.

The front passenger of the Mazda, a 36-year-old woman, was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital with critical injuries.

The woman, from Waitara, died yesterday (Wednesday 24 October 2018).

The driver of the Mazda, a 38-year-old man, remains in Royal North Shore Hospital in a stable condition.

The driver of the Volkswagen, a 23-year-old woman, was treated in hospital for a broken arm. She has since been released.

Officers from Kuring-Gai Police Area Command are investigating the crash and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
