A woman has died following a crash between a car and truck at Denman, near Muswellbrook early this morning, NSW Police say.
Just before 4am (Tuesday 6 February 2018), a Hyundai hatchback travelling east on Denman Road collided with a rigid truck travelling in opposite direction, about two kilometres east of the Golden Highway.
The driver of the Hyundai, a 36-year-old woman, died at the scene.
The driver of the truck, a 45-year-old man, sustained minor injuries and was taken to Muswellbrook Hospital where he underwent mandatory testing.
A crime scene was established and the circumstances surrounding the collision are being investigated.
A brief will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
