Police and emergency services are currently at the scene of a fatal crash in Flora Hill, near Bendigo, Victoria Police say.
It is believed a white sedan travelling south on Somerville Street struck a stationary north-facing truck near the Keck Street intersection about 1.30am.
Despite the best efforts of paramedics, the female passenger of the car died at the scene.
The male driver of the car has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Two men, occupants of the truck, were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Somerville Street will be blocked at the scene of the crash for some time and diversions are in place.
Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are currently en route and the investigation is ongoing.
