Knox Highway Patrol officers are appealing for witnesses and dashcam owners to come forward after a woman was struck by a truck in Croydon this morning.
Emergency services were called to the collision near the intersection of Mt Dandenong and Parrs roads just after 8.30am.
The 62-year-old Croydon woman was transported to hospital with critical injuries, where she later died.
The driver of the truck was not physically injured and stopped at the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the incident remains ongoing.
