Police and emergency services are currently on the scene of a fatal crash which occurred at Ballendalla, north of Rochester, earlier this afternoon.
The incident happened on the Prairie-Rochester Road just after 1pm.
Investigators believe the west-bound vehicle left the roadway and possibly rolled once or twice, ending up in culvert on the side of the road.
The female driver, who was the sole occupant in the vehicle, died at the scene.
Police are still to formally identify the woman involved in the crash
