Woman dies in single-vehicle crash-Barrier Police District

A woman has died following a single-vehicle crash in the state's west this afternoon.

About 1.30pm (Saturday 16 May 2020), two witnesses drove upon a crash scene, where a car appears to have rolled, on the Silver City Highway, Anabranch, about 110km north of Wentworth.

A 29-year-old woman was located deceased nearby and two baby capsules – containing two 15-month-old babies – were located secured in the rear of the car.

The children were uninjured are were released and cared for by witnesses until the arrival of emergency services.

A crime scene was established, and investigations are underway by police attached to Dareton Police Station.

A brief will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
