Woman hospitalised after Strathfield crash, NSW

A woman remains in hospital after the car she was driving and a taxi collided at Strathfield this morning, NSW Police say.

The crash happened about 2.50am tomorrow, when an eastbound Mazda3 and a westbound taxi collided at the intersection of Parramatta Road and the M4.

A woman, believed to be aged in her 20s, driving the hatchback suffered suspected pelvic injuries and was taken to Westmead Hospital. It’s expected she will also undergo mandatory blood and urine testing.

The driver of the taxi escaped injury.

The investigation is underway by Burwood Local Area Command.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
