Woman injured during robbery, police probe in Auburn

Police are investigating a robbery in Auburn last night, NSW Police say.

Just after 7.00pm today, two unknown men entered a supermarket at the intersection of Queen Street and Park Street, Auburn.

The men assaulted a female employee, before fleeing the scene with cash.

Officers attached to Flemington Local Area Command attended and commenced inquiries.

The 24-year-old employee was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics for non-life threatening injuries.

An investigation is underway into whether this incident is linked to an armed robbery that occurred on Monday 7 August 2017 at a supermarket at the intersection of Queen and Park Street, Auburn.
