A woman has been charged following a pursuit in Werribee on Tuesday, Victoria Police say.
A blue Hyundai hatchback, allegedly bearing stolen registration plates, came to the attention of police after it struck a pole on McGrath Road about 12.20pm.
The Hyundai was allegedly later involved in a minor collision with another vehicle at the corner of Tarneit and Hogans roads.
Werribee police arrested a 24 year-old woman at a Camden Way address in Wyndham Vale about 4pm yesterday.
The Melton woman has been charged with dangerous driving whilst being pursued, fail to stop at a collision and fail to stop and render assistance.
She was remanded to appear at Sunshine Magistrates’ Court this morning.
