Woman, two children hospitalised after single vehicle crash at Orange

A woman and two children have been taken to hospital following a single vehicle crash in the state's Central West.

About 1am today (Thursday 18 March 2021), emergency services responded to reports a vehicle was travelling on the Burrendong Way toward Orange when it lost control and hit a street sign, before colliding with a tree.

The driver, a woman aged 30, was trapped for a short time before being extracted from the vehicle.

The woman and a three-month-old girl were taken to Orange Hospital for observation.

A two-year-old girl was taken to Orange Hospital, before being airlifted to Westmead Children's Hospital in a serious condition.

Officers attached to Central West Police District attended and established a crime scene.

Investigations continue.
