Woman with three children in car charged with PCA in Picton

A woman will appear in court in June after being charged with drink driving while conveying her three children to school at Picton this morning, NSW Police say.

Shortly after 9am today, officers attached to Macquarie Fields Traffic & Highway Patrol stopped a red Hyundai on Picton Road for a mobile random breath test.

The 41-year-old female driver returned a positive breath test and she was arrested and taken to Picton Police Station.

When stopped the woman was conveying her children aged 12, 9 and 8-years-old to school.

At the station she underwent a breath analysis and returned a reading of 0.179 and was issued with a FCAN for the offence of Driving with the High Range prescribed Concentration of Alcohol.

The woman will appear at Picton Local Court on Tuesday 13 June 2017.

The woman’s three children were conveyed to school by a relative.
