Young people with an artistic flair are invited to submit their artwork for the 2020 Woods Street Youth Art Prize.

Young artists are encouraged to submit artworks that can be drawings, paintings, prints, photography, sculpture, film or even performance art pieces which respond to the theme of 'A New Power-Finding a Voice'.

The Woods Street Youth Art Prize will be on exhibition at the Woods Street Arts Space, Laverton from 23 to 24 May, with prizes announced at the opening night on Friday 22 May.

Works will be selected based on creative excellence and how well the work responds to the theme.

The Woods Street Youth Art Prize is open to young people aged 14 to 25 who live or work in Melbourne's west. There will be a specific prize for artists living in Hobsons Bay.
