Thursday, 29 November 2018: As Australian shoppers begin to turn their full attention to the Christmas season, brands across Woolworths Group are providing an added incentive to get the festive shopping done early with a supercharged bonus Rewards offer from today until Sunday.
Whether you're filling the pantry, purchasing drinks for a party, buying the kids Christmas presents or fuelling the car for those shopping trips, customers who shop across Woolworths Supermarkets, BWS, BIG W and participating Caltex and Woolworths Caltex fuel outlets will earn the following bonus Woolworths Rewards points between Thursday, 29 November and Sunday, 2 December:
● Spend $50 - $99 - Earn 3x Woolworths Rewards points
● Spend $100 - $149 - Earn 5x Woolworths Rewards points
● Spend $150+ - Earn 10x Woolworths Rewards points
To also take the hassle out of shopping during this busy period, stores across the Woolworths Group have added thousands of team members to help customers find the items they need and help cut down the time spent in Christmas shopping queues.
Woolworths Group employs more than 140,000 team members in its stores nationally, with this figure increasing by an additional 10 percent in the month of December to help support the delivery of an efficient experience for customers.
Woolworths Group CEO Brad Banducci said; "From buying groceries, toys, decorations, drinks and fuel to go places, there is lots to think about as we lead into Christmas. We also understand that budgets and time to be with friends and family are stretched at this time of the year.
"That's why we're supercharging our Rewards and customer service offering as Aussies begin their Christmas shopping in earnest. It means customers can earn even more rewards on every dollar spent, as well as enjoy a hassle free experience with more team members on hand to help."
"Whether you're buying a gift for a loved one at BIG W, some wine for entertaining over the festive season at BWS, or continuing to stock up towards the Christmas day meal in Woolworths supermarkets, customers will be able to earn bonus Rewards points no matter how many times they shop our Group stores from now until Sunday."
Woolworths has also recently enhanced redemption options for Rewards members using the 'Save for Christmas' feature, giving customers more flexibility to choose the date they decide to redeem the savings they have chosen to save up for the season. Hundreds of thousands of Rewards members have banked more than $17million in Woolworths points using this option in 2018.
To be eligible for the bonus Woolworths Rewards points, all customers will need to do is activate the offer at www.woolworthsrewards.com.au/christmasbonus. This offer is not available in Woolworths Group Tasmanian stores which has the Frequent Shoppers Club (FSC) rather than Woolworths Rewards as their program.
