Working together for RHH Emergency Department

Michael Ferguson,Minister for Health

Following productive conversations over the past week, the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine (ACEM) and the Minister for Health have today met with representatives of the Royal Hobart Hospital's clinical leadership and key members of the Department of Health, including the Secretary.

Today's meetings continue our work to alleviate pressures being felt in our Emergency Department at the Royal Hobart Hospital, and have been positive and productive.

While already there is considerable work underway, we know there is always more to do to improve health outcomes for Tasmanians.

The Hodgman Liberal Government is steadfast in its resolve to deliver the best possible health services for Tasmanians, and we will continue to listen to and work with clinicians and health professionals to achieve this.
