During April 2021, Dungog Shire Council undertook significant road and infrastructure construction and maintenance works across the shire.
These include:
Road and Bridge Construction
- RR7764 Bingleburra Road (West of Sugarloaf Road): Resealing and line marking works.
- MR301 Clarence Town Road (Union Bridge to Parers Hill, Special Grant): Resealing and line marking works.
- RR7778 Gresford Road (REPAIR): Drainage and pavement works.
- RR7764 Bingleburra Road (West of Turnbull's Road): Resealing, signage and line marking works.
- MR128 Durham Road, Gresford: Watermain relocation and pavement works.
- Black Rock Road (SRV): Tree works.
- Tillegra Bridge: Bridge approach earthworks.
Building and Other Construction Works
- Bennett Park: Kiosk building construction works.
- Clarence Town Sporting Facility: Building construction works.
- Williams River Holiday Park: Amenities building construction works.
Sealed road maintenance including landslip repair, heavy patching, resealing and drainage, as well as unsealed roads maintenance including grading, gravel sheeting and drainage works were also undertaken on roads across the shire.
All works listed are in addition to the regular maintenance, repair, slashing and mowing works carried out across all council facilities.
